A ministry team from Madison Park Church and Anderson University School of Theology traveled to India during January. Team members included Pastor Keith Stork, Robin Gerhart, Barbara Collier, and David Neidert. The team visited the Church of God in Meghalaya (northeast India) and the India Gospel League in Salem, Tamil Nadu. In Meghalaya, team members participated in the 25th Anniversary Conference of the Youth Fellowship. The conference theme was “Be Transformed.” Pastor Stork and David Neidert preached at several services, including an open air evangelistic service before 2,500 people. Barbara Collier conducted a two-day Bible studyand David Neidert delivered a leadership seminar.
A highlight for the women of the church was the friendships developed with Barbara Collier and Robin Gerhart. As one young woman shared, “We have only heard about women coming to Meghalaya from the Church of God in the United States.
My mother told me about it, but I have never experienced it until now.”
The team’s second stop was the India Gospel League (IGL).
The team toured the 40-acre IGL campus learning of its expanding ministry. The highlights were many including sharing with a “Women’s Transformation Group,” seeing children in both schools and day care, meeting Barefoot Pastors,” and attending a service at a rural Life Center. IGL has an urgent need for prayer partners. It is our hope that you will visit the IGL website at iglworld.org and sign up to be a prayer partner for India. It is easy and the impact will be significant. God is at work in India! This team experienced, witnessed, and heard numerous testimonies of God’s grace over ten days. If you believe God is inviting you to experience India, be obedient and go. It will transform your life, guaranteed!
