Meghalaya's plan size to be finalised soon

Shillong Apr 14 : The Planning Commission is expected to fix the annual plan size of Meghalaya for the year 2011-2012, a government official said .

''The Planning Commission will finalise the plan size (2011-12) for Meghalaya on April 19 and 20,'' Additional Chief Secretary B K Dev Varma told reporters here.

Chief Minister Mukul Sangma will lead a team of officials from the state for the annual plan size discussion with officials of the Planning Commission.

The state government has proposed to the Planning Commission to approve the annual plan size for the state for the 2011-2012 fiscal at Rs 2,727 crore.
