Lucknow, Feb 5 Two women died after allegedly consuming spurious liquor in Chowk area here following which a magisterial probe has been ordered into the incident.Shanti (60) and Itarkali (40), both vegetable sellers, purchased liquor from a nearby shop yesterday, police said, adding the duo complained of uneasiness after its consumption.
Both were rushed to a hospital where they died, they said.
Taking serious note of the incident, District Magistrate, Chandrabhanu, has ordered a magisterial probe, while license of liquor shop has been cancelled, they said.
Police is investigating into the matter.
