Eight injured in road accident in Meghalaya

Shillong, Jul 7 : Eight people were critically injured when their jeep collided head-on with a truck on the bridge over Umian lake about 20 km from here, police today said.

They said the accident occurred yesterday. The injured included two women and a five-year-old child.

All the injured had been admitted to the Shillong Civil Hospital.
